‘Family does not mean free labor': Younger sister finally stands up to her parents and older sister when she refuses to cancel her vacation to watch her nieces and nephews

When it comes to helping family, things can get complicated. You have to make sure you're not being taken advantage of just because you're the "nice" sibling or the younger sibling. For example, this little sister who was taken advantage of her entire life. Her older sister was the "golden child" and she always got her way. The younger sister didn't want to be a trouble maker, so she always did what she was told. Which happened to always be whatever her older sister wanted. 

 

Finally, as adults, she's had it. After wasted weekends where she's babysat with no pay, she's done. She booked a trip with her and her friends and was going on a holiday. However, last minute, her sister called her and told her to cancel because she needed her to babysit. Like, what?! How entitled! The sister said absolutely not and held strong to her boundaries. Her sister hung up and told on her. Like a literal child. The younger sister then had to also protect her boundaries with her parents and still refused to reschedule her trip. She went on her vacation, had an amazing time, and her sister had to finally pay someone to watch her kids.
